Kate Glover, a Canadian Founder of Rally & Roots had recently moved into a new home in Toronto with her husband when the business idea hit her.
To remind, after a move to a new home, she wanted to spruce up the place with some hand-painted planters.
After scrolling Pinterest to find inspiration - Kate got painting!
When she finished her planter design her husband said to her “hey, you should sell that”.
Kate, who was working as a server and bartender at the time, had never really considered starting a business - but she took her husband's comment to heart and months later decided to start her business, Rally & Roots.
Today, Rally & Roots has made over 5,373 Sales on Etsy alone and has amassed over 1000 of 5 star reviews. Pretty wild, huh?
It’s been incredible to see how Kate has navigated life as an entrepreneur, mother and maker and I think you’ll love this episode.
