This will undoubtedly be our best season, yet!
While we wrap up the current season of the podcast, we’re also tying off other loose ends in the business.
Reflecting back on the year, I almost can’t believe the momentum that began back in March and has remained steady for the past 9 months.
It certainly hasn’t been an easy year, but we made it.
Thinking back to the “promise” that 2020 brought with it, it was supposed to be the year of vision.
It was the cultural start of the decade & the beginning of a new era.
It was the year that called itself “The Year of Vision” because of the play on 20/20 vision which is essentially having perfect vision in the optometry world.
Many of us imagined being super deliberate with bringing our visions to life over the past 12 months, and then this little pandemic hit.
Looking back at those first few weeks of March, it almost felt like the apocalypse.
Stores were shutting down,
People were being told to stay inside,
Mass hysteria ensued,
And fear was everywhere.
The year of vision quickly turned into the year of “what the hell is going on”!?!
And believe me when I say I had many moments of wondering that very question.
Everything felt uncertain and scary, yet leadership was in high demand. The masses were looking for guidance and support. Someone who could stay strong and offer perspectives, while everything felt chaotic.
And this is when the year of vision was really born.
Those without clear vision perished. Almost instantly, they retreated to their cave and deemed 2020 the year of Netflix, Bottomless Wine & Stagnation.
Those with clear vision, on the other hand?
They showed up to serve knowing that their vision to change the world doesn’t stop because of a virus.
And I’m not just talking about business owners and leaders, here.
Those with vision for their life also rose above.
To have found happiness, fulfillment, and joy this year… there needed to be clarity of vision. Knowing that without it, life feels empty.
I think we all learned that this year, happiness was an inside job.
Though we cannot be certain what 2021 will bring, we can plan to do the inner work this year… to set a new foundation for our life and career path… and to dig into our full potential.
If you’re looking for a community to support you & guide you on this journey,

Anyways, as the final episode of Season 6, I wanted to share a Year in Review here at Visionary HQ.
To begin, I want to share that I feel very grateful to have had a wonderful year despite the worldly events.
I recognize this was NOT the case for everyone.
5 years ago, I felt this nudge in my soul to share my gifts in the online space because I saw the shift towards remote working & digital freedom. I don’t think I got “lucky” during this pandemic, I think I worked really effing hard over the past many years to build what I have today.
Now, let’s get into my Top 5 Lessons Learned in 2020.
Lessons learned.
Dream that Sh!t
What you want IS possible. You just have to go out & get it.
Invest, invest, invest!
If you knew that you could double your income this year by investing 20% of last year’s profits, would you do it? That’s what happened to me (almost!)
Show up and lead, visionary!
When everyone else is contracting if you’re able to expand, do it.
Reaching for milestones seems like it will make you happy but it doesn’t.
Happiness starts with you. Not with a new home, a new car, or a fancy promotion.
Facebook Groups still work
They brought me a lot of new connections and opportunities this year. However, as of 2021 I’m putting much of my attention onto Clubhouse App. You?
That’s all for this episode! Tune into the show to hear more insight on each lesson.
