Living Visionary: Catching up with the incredible members of the Visionary Community!
In this series, I’ll be catching up with the incredible member of our Visionary Community from past and present.
This is a project that I started while I was on Maternity Leave (#VisionaryMama) with my first baby as a way to stay plugged in, inspired and rooted among the community of clients and students that I’ve supported over the last (almost) 8 years.
Enjoy, and if it feels appropriate please support their amazing businesses!

Bio…
Kelsey Reidl is a Small Business Marketing Coach with a special interest in Social Media Growth, Search Engine Optimization and Direct Response Marketing Strategy.
After a decade working in Business Development & Marketing Roles for some of Canada’s Top Health Food Brands, Kelsey decided to leave the corporate world so that she could work with Small Businesses and help them adopt The Essential Marketing Success Principles, so that they can work with more clients, generate more cash, and bring the FUN back into marketing.
Through her courses, coaching, and her podcast Visionary Life, she inspires entrepreneurs to challenge the status quo, connect with customers in creative ways, and to never settle for mediocre marketing campaigns.
Kelsey lives in Ontario, Canadia with her husband and rescue pup, Abby. She loves to explore the world in search of the best coffee shops, the most stunning nature, and the wildest experiences (sleeping in the Sahara, mountain biking through canyons, and heli-skiing in Switzerland are some of her best memories!)

Always…
Drink lots of water, kill people with kindness if they’re in a crabby mood, and do hard things that stretch you at least 1x weekly (like cold plunge, speaking to someone you don’t know, or trying a new digital marketing strategy)
Never…
Respond to mean comments or emails in the moment. Let is sit, shake it off, go for a walk, and then respond 24 hours later once you’ve realized that hurt people, hurt people!
Advice for other entrepreneurs, who are slightly less far along…
Play the long game, because quick success and rapid growth are not the ‘norm’. Be ok with working multiple jobs until you have the income needed to work FT on your own business, unless you have another safety net. Avoid bringing desperate energy to your business!
Tool, resource, podcast, book or person you’ve invested in that’s added value to your entrepreneurial journey
Investing in Business Masterminds, Coaches and Retreats are the best investments I’ve ever made.
Tell us more about your business (what do you do, who do you help, what does your workday look like, how do people find out about you).
I work with small businesses, online entrepreneurs and creators to help them build out their business and dial in their Marketing Funnels.
Recent milestone you’ve celebrated in your business?
1000 successful payments (1000 sales!) from my courses, coaches and clients back in May of 2023. When I logged into my payment processor and say this number, my jaw dropped. I had no idea that I would be lucky enough to work with this many people in just 7 years.
Favourite way to wind down after a long workweek.
Campfire in my backyard, listening to the sounds of the river that we live on. Might enjoy a Kombucha, a craft beer or snack on some Chocolate Almonds - depends on my mood!
Before starting my workday, I make sure to…
Get outside, listen to great music (I love EDM / Dance Remix Music), brew a coffee, and spend a minute appreciating that I don’t have to rush out to an office (like I used to!)
Best part of my work is…
I love Monday’s because they are designated content creation days (podcasting, blogs, writing emails, scheduling social posts) but I also love Wednesday’s when I get to faciliate our Mastermind full of driven, high-performing Female Entrepreneurs.
Tips for someone who is hesitant to follow their heart and start their own business?
When you stop living your life for other people and worrying about them judging you, you’re finally able to tap into your Inner Voice / True Compass and just DO WHAT YOU WANT while learning along the way that you deserve happiness, abundance, and to live a life that honours your Core Values.
Last vacation you took (and where did you go)…
My husband and I flew to NYC for a ‘babymoon’ (not actually, but I guess it’s what you call your final vacation before baby?) and we walked the High Line, I took a Power Yoga Class at Peloton Studios NYC, we ate great food, walked 30,000 steps per day, e-biked through Central Park, and went to Comedy Cellar and Village Underground and laughed our heads off!
Bucket list vacation that you hope to embark on in the next 5 years (where to and why?)
I’ve always enjoyed travelling Central and South America the most (Peru, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Belize have been some of my favourites). I’d love to keep exploring!
