Living Visionary: Catching up with the incredible members of the Visionary Community!
In this series, I’ll be catching up with the incredible member of our Visionary Community from past and present.
This is a project that I started while I was on Maternity Leave (#VisionaryMama) with my first baby as a way to stay plugged in, inspired and rooted among the community of clients and students that I’ve supported over the last (almost) 8 years.
Enjoy, and if it feels appropriate please support their amazing businesses!

Always…
Do one thing you love every day. See others through the eyes of compassion, not judgment. Ask for what you want. If you don’t ask, the answer is always “no.”
Never…
Wait for more time or more confidence. There will never be “more time.” Take action now. Confidence comes from action, so you’ll be waiting for confidence for a long time if you don’t just get started.
Advice for other entrepreneurs, who are slightly less far along…
Nothing is fixed or permanent. You can change course, redefine yourself, and let go of something no longer serving you. It’s the holding on that keeps us stuck. Also, ask for help. Being an entrepreneur can be lonely, and we can waste a lot of time trying to do everything ourselves. Focus on your area of genius and ask for help for the rest.
Tool, resource, podcast, book or person you’ve invested in that’s added value to your entrepreneurial journey
There are so many resources!
Too many.
Focus on the “best in class” leaders who specialize in your space. Join their programs, listen to their podcasts. Surround yourself with the people who inspire you, challenge you, and who will kick your ass (with love) to get you to levels you didn’t imagine were possible.
Tell us more about your business (what do you do, who do you help, what does your workday look like, how do people find out about you).
I work with wealth professionals and leaders who want to elevate their business, lead empowered teams, integrate their lives, and leave a meaningful legacy.
Favourite way to wind down after a long workweek.
In the summer months, my favourite place to unwind is on the dock with family and friends.
In the cooler weather, I love to unwind by the fireplace having a great chat and sipping on coffee or a glass of white wine - popcorn is optional, but always welcome!
Before starting my workday, I make sure to…
Journal to set my intentions for the day, meditate to ground and centre, and drink lots of water.
Best part of my work is…
I’m fortunate to do work that I love every day. I think the best part of my work is receiving emails, texts, or calls from my clients who share exciting wins they’ve had.
An advisor who had a deep discovery with a prospect and won the business, a leader who handled a challenging conversation with ease, a team who saw the results of their hard work to communicate more effectively…
Celebrating their wins with them is the greatest joy in my work.
Tips for someone who is hesitant to follow their heart and start their own business?
You’ll always find people who don’t believe you can do it. If that fuels you, use it. If not, discard it. The naysayers speak from a place of their own fears and doubts.
Seek out and surround yourself with people who believe in you and cheer you on. You might be surprised to discover who your cheerleaders are. If you want more positive energy, join a mastermind of like-minded people who can inspire you, champion for you when you’re in doubt, and fuel your greatness.
Last vacation you took (and where did you go)…
I spend most of my vacation time at the lake - it is my little slice of heaven on earth. My last vacation where I travelled outside of Canada was to Costa Rica. Watching the sunset on the beach is one of Mother Nature’s greatest gifts we get to witness daily.
