Living Visionary: Catching up with the incredible members of the Visionary Community!

In this series, I’ll be catching up with the incredible member of our Visionary Community from past and present.

This is a project that I started while I was on Maternity Leave (#VisionaryMama) with my first baby as a way to stay plugged in, inspired and rooted among the community of clients and students that I’ve supported over the last (almost) 8 years.

Enjoy, and if it feels appropriate please support their amazing businesses!

Advice for other entrepreneurs, who are slightly less far along…

Think about those who benefit from your product / service. It’s easy to get caught in the weeds of it all, but remembering your WHY for starting the business is what will keep you going during the tough times.

Tool, resource, podcast, book or person you’ve invested in that’s added value to your entrepreneurial journey

Kelsey - obviously!! But also always listening to podcasts about entrepreneurs (especially those not in the same industry!)

Tell us more about your business (what do you do, who do you help, what does your workday look like, how do people find out about you).

I work with athletes to help build a mental framework that supports their goals and values in life. I primarily work with athletes who are going through longer term injuries (think ACL’s or concussions).

Day to day is very different, depending on what I’m working on. Each week I always have 2 days with no clients where I get to create my own content and also do research (I could read research for hourssss).

Alot of my client sessions are in the evening or on weekends, but that's okay with me:)

Favourite way to wind down after a long workweek.

Bike ride, swim and a good book (while snuggling a dog…when I can)

Before starting my workday, I make sure to…

Clean my room

Best part of my work is…

Connecting with my clients

Tips for someone who is hesitant to follow their heart and start their own business?

LIfe is too short not to follow what makes your heart happy

Last vacation you took (and where did you go)…

Mountain biking and hiking in New Zealand!!! I cannot wait to go back.

Bucket list vacation that you hope to embark on in the next 5 years (where to and why?)

Back to New Zealand, there is still so much to see! Also want to do a mountain bike trip to Spain!
