Living Visionary: Catching up with the incredible members of the Visionary Community!
In this series, I’ll be catching up with the incredible member of our Visionary Community from past and present.
This is a project that I started while I was on Maternity Leave (#VisionaryMama) with my first baby as a way to stay plugged in, inspired and rooted among the community of clients and students that I’ve supported over the last (almost) 8 years.
Enjoy, and if it feels appropriate please support their amazing businesses!

Advice for other entrepreneurs, who are slightly less far along…
Find other entrepreneurs that you trust and respect to be a great sounding board and resource for you along the way.
Also, you don’t have to know it all or do it all, right away. Stay focused, take your time and enjoy the journey.
Tool, resource, podcast, book or person you’ve invested in that’s added value to your entrepreneurial journey
No joke - Kelsey’s coaching services. I’ve joined Kelsey’s group program and invested in her personalized coaching and she packs an incredible amount of value into her coaching.
An honest reflection!
Let someone else into your business, who can offer an outside perspective, and who has the skills to focus your attention on maximizing your goals.
For tools, I rely heavily on Flodesk and Canva, and I use the free version of Asana for task management. Again, you don’t need it all. Keep things simple.
Tell us more about your business (what do you do, who do you help, what does your workday look like, how do people find out about you).
As a Nutrition Coach (R.H.N.) and busy mom of two, I’m dedicated to helping families reduce the stress, overwhelm and confusion that comes with feeding their families – and themselves.
I have learned so many lessons, tips and strategies along my own motherhood journey that I can fast track your results for you. I’ve helped over 100 families feel confident with their food choices while juggling busy schedules, differing taste buds and chaotic mealtimes. I bring a realistic and simplified approach that combines meal planning that actually fits your life, builds confidence with feeding kids and helps you release unnecessary guilt and pressure.
I cut through the confusing nutrition space to give you practical suggestions on how to fuel yourself and your family – even with a packed calendar.
I’m anything but perfect when it comes to feeding them. I cook foods from a box, foods from the freezer and convenience options on an ongoing basis. I’m not all or nothing…I’m realistic. And you can be too.

Recent milestone you’ve celebrated in your business
It’s not a traditional milestone, but rather seeing the impact of nutrition coaching for the whole family.
While working with one of my busy mom clients, we worked on simplifying mealtimes, elevating her diet and working towards her health goals.
We also spent time talking about the language to use with her kids, in particular with her young son who, due to health reasons and a risk of fainting, has to be mindful of his blood sugar levels.
We brought the language down to his level and he’s now understanding how different foods work in his body. At three years old, he’s already learning how to care for himself through food, which is a lifelong skill that he’ll always need to prioritize. What an empowering moment for all of them!
Favourite way to wind down after a long workweek.
Making an easy dinner for the family and watching a movie with the kids
Before starting my workday, I make sure to…
Move my body and fuel myself with breakfast
Best part of my work is…
Watching my client’s lives improve by prioritizing their nutrition, loving easy, healthy recipes, confidently feeding their family even when busy, feeling like the healthiest version of themselves, watching them heal their relationship with food and flipping the script on how their kids view and understand food. So, pretty much all of it!
Tips for someone who is hesitant to follow their heart and start their own business?
Remind yourself ‘why’ you want to start your own business.
When you stay focused on what’s important to you, what motivates you, what your goals are and what impact you want to make, it helps you block out the noise and the self-doubt.
You have something to offer the world and it’s worth it to be brave and see it through.
Last vacation you took (and where did you go)…
It’s been a while – life with kids! – but we enjoy our cottage every weekend in the summer as a family. We’re also headed to Nashville this weekend!
Bucket list vacation that you hope to embark on in the next 5 years (where to and why?)
Costa Rica to visit my aunt and uncle, and explore the beautiful country. We love to be anywhere that we can adventure outdoors and appreciate nature.
