If you don’t know Dr. Stephanie Estima, let me introduce you to her.
Dr. Stephanie Estima is a women's body transformation coach and keto expert, as well as the founder of The Estima Certification Program. She’s also the Author of the wildly successful book, The Betty Body.
In this conversation, I ask Stephanie how we can build BETTER bodies, BETTER businesses and a BETTER brain.
We go deep on…
How your inability to focus can be detrimental to running your business. As you probably know, brain fog can make it difficult to think clearly, remember important details, and make decisions as a business owner and can hinder your ability to succeed in business. She shares tips for improving that!
How to attract your dream clients by authentically sharing (and living!) your values and vision
Her back story and how many years ago, by any measure, she was “successful”. She had a brick and mortar health clinic, a full roster of patients, and a wonderful team. But there was also an emptiness. She felt like something was missing in my life and that led her to make a really big pivot.
You’ll take away so much from this conversion with Dr. Stephanie and I hope you’ll spend time diving into these Female-Focused Secrets for BETTER Health as a Business Owner!
Over the past year, not only have I had the privilege of getting to know Dr. Stephanie on a personal level - but I’ve watched her from the sidelines, as she has followed her heart in getting more visible & becoming the voice for women.
Dr. Stephanie Estima recently released her 1st book called The Betty Body: A Geeky Goddess' Guide to Intuitive Eating, Balanced Hormones, and Transformative Sex.
It’s safe to say you’re going to be wildly inspired after listening to her journey.
On today’s episode, we are talking about better business, better focus, better confidence, better resilience, better metabolic health as business owners and sooo much more.
Better is Dr. Stephanie's favourite word so if you’re someone who wants to be better, get ready to take notes!
And before we cut to the conversation, I want to encourage you to check out Dr. Stephanie’s brand new book, The Betty Body.
Her researched, but relatable approach to teaching women how to feel incredible their bodies is unlike any health book I’ve ever read before.

WANT TO PEEK IN ON MY PREP NOTES FOR THIS SHOW?
In preparation for this show, I figured I would scroll the archives of my emails to see when it was that I first met you. I was transported back to 2013 when I worked for Loblaw’s on their Community Development Team.
I have various documents that mention your services, your clinic at the time, and I remember my colleague sharing that she wanted to add you to our roster of Referable Practitioners in The King West Area of Toronto --
This also reminded me just how much can change in the span of 8 years! For you, for me, for all of us…

LET’S RECAP 3 VISIONARY TAKEAWAYS FROM OUR CONVERSATION:
A few things I want to double tap on…
The journey of Ending or Closing a Chapter with Integrity
Whether it’s closing the clinic like Dr. Stephanie described, ending a relationship or quitting a job… make sure to do it with integrity, so that you’re proud when you retell the story. Leave on a high note, or as the old expression goes, “never burn bridges.”
Second, is the secret to Better business really to “stop trying to be like everyone else?”
I agree with Dr. Stephanie on this one, and really believe it is.
You can hear how fired up I get when it comes to not changing who you are, but becoming more of who you are. Business is self expression, afterall. The sooner you can fully self express, the sooner your business will be more fun and profitable.
Finally, let’s talk about Cold Therapy!
Who’s coming over for a Polar Bear Dip?
I just moved to a small town and our new place backs onto the river, so I’ve done a few Polar Bear Dips in the ice cold water.
Dr. Stephanie loves the power of cold therapy on our metabolic health, and it’s something so simple (& affordable) that we can do if we live in cold climates. It was actually one of my January goals to do 1 per week!
I always picture her sipping her morning espresso on her front porch until she is shivering, something simple she does to practice daily cold therapy.
