Based in Toronto, Nanci Miranda is a gifted Reiki Master dedicated to helping others heal, transform, and reconnect with their inner wisdom. Through Reiki she helps to recapture their authentic selves and live a balanced life full of passion and purpose.

She also offers Self Love Workshops. Through Reiki filled guided meditation, journaling and fire ceremony; in a small and intimate group of 6 women, her workshops offer a safe environment to uncover blocks that are holding us back in life. They help to transform us by recapturing a more authentic expression of one's self. We are able to release what no longer serves us, and allows us to fall more deeply in love with ourselves and our lives.

Nanci is also an Intuitive Artist. You can view her existing Gallery of Work on her website. She also offers custom commissions. Through in-person or virtual consultation, she works with her clients to uncover the feelings behind the piece they want created. This allows her to offer paintings that express emotions on canvas.

Find ways to love yourself. It can be as easy as looking in the mirror for 30 seconds and telling yourself, “ you are amazing!”

Never…

Do anything that drains you. I don’t mean feeling tired after a long day of productivity. I’m referring to things that feel crappy when they are offered to you.

Not all opportunities are meant for us. Sometimes you need to say “I’ll pass”, because they are meant to be passed along to the person that gets jazzed by them.

Advice for other entrepreneurs, who are slightly less far along…

Wake up everyday and do one thing that moves your business forward. And be authentic. That will attract the right opportunities and people to you.

Wave Mastermind is the first support I have used to enhance and grow my business. It has been a game changer for me. Having a group that listens and offers excellent information that I can take action on right away.

Tell us more about your business (what do you do, who do you help, what does your workday look like, how do people find out about you).

I offer Reiki in person and distance Treatments. My clients are looking for relief from stress, anxiety and even physical issues.

My treatment room is in my home and it has been described as feeling like a safe and protected space where they can allow themselves to energetically release what no longer serves them.

When I’m not booked offering Reiki I am in my studio creating art. I offer commission pieces. I specialize in portraiture and abstraction.

Recent milestone you’ve celebrated in your business

Completing the largest painting commission of my career as an artist. A 6’x7’ gallery canvas of a Tuscan Pear.

Favourite way to wind down after a long workweek.

Baking with my daughter followed by a bubble bath with a relaxing meditation.

Best part of my work is…

Reiki, I get to help people in their healing and it doesn’t drain my energy. I have finally found my life’s purpose. With each Reiki treatment, I am filled with energy and joy.

Tips for someone who is hesitant to follow their heart and start their own business?

I have been an entrepreneur for over 40 years. Starting four different companies that fueled my passions. The biggest lesson I have learned is that there is no time like NOW. There is no perfect time to start anything.

Take one action toward your goal and notice what it brings. Then take action on that result. Before you know it you will have built a thriving business.

Last vacation you took (and where did you go)…

I went to Paris on my own at 55. It was my first trip I have taken all by myself. Everything about it was challenging. Going outside and exploring, even eating by myself, took breaking through a barrier for me.

Each day I would have to pull up my big girl pants and dive into another adventure. This trip gave me an incredible experiences that I will hold on to for my entire life. Whenever I think, “I can’t do that”, I just remember who I became in Paris.

The beauty of viewing many of the finest artists' works such as Monet and Gauguin was a highlight for me.

This experience was so rewarding. I felt expansive on my return home. I knew that nothing would stand in my way as long as I remembered that accomplishment.

Bucket list vacation that you hope to embark on in the next 5 years (where to and why?)

Portugal with my husband for a 2nd honeymoon. We will be married for 30 years in 2027.

We wanted to have our honeymoon there but we didn’t have the funds when we were starting out. Now in our 60’s it's time to lay on a beach together and reminisce about our incredible adventures together.
