Here’s a little about me…
- I thrive in communities of like-minded people.
- I’ve been interested in natural health for as long as I can remember.
- I learn, every single day.
- I teach from what I know, what I’ve gone through, and my life experiences.
- I’m an eternal optimist.
- I show up fully each day.
- Visionary is the word that I use to sum myself up.
- I love finding the good in people and helping them uncover their strengths.
My goal in this lifetime is quite simple– and that’s to live a life that I don’t need a vacation from.
Now, I wanna know about you. Who are you?
Do you believe any of the following statements?…
- We are creative and intelligent people possessing unique gifts in which we are meant to serve the world with?
- Support & mentorship can help us to uncover our gifts?
- Getting out of bed each day should be exciting, not dreadful?
- Natural approaches to self + home care will become ‘the norm’ once again, and chemicals/toxins will be banned from store shelves by 2050?
- With the right tools we can all live well, preserve our health, and lead energetic lives alongside our friends and family?
I do. I believe every single word written above, and stand proudly behind my beliefs.
This is what I am here to share with you!
“Double down on your strengths, and delegate your weakness”
When we tune into our innate and acquired strengths– we are better able to navigate our purpose in this world. If you are unsure of what you’re good at, you’re not alone.
In our 20’s and 30’s our time is full of work and life commitments, leaving little time to explore the things that *truly* matter– our gifts that we are meant to uncover and share with the world.
I recommend that people take either Strengths Finder quiz, or the Via Character online quiz to hone in on what your heart already knows– but may have been forgotten. Here are a few of my strengths, and how they guided me towards leading a team of natural health advocates in my doTERRA business.
Zest + Life Maximizer
I approach my business and my life with excitement + energy. I see everyday as an adventure and aim to activate my sense of curiosity and excitement daily. I do things like going out for coffee or dinner on weekdays (gasp!) without hesitation, I plan trips with my fiancee monthly that take us around the world, I do the things that I love every 24 hours because I LOVE THEM that much.
Being a maximizer means that I prioritize building upon my natural strengths. Average is not great word for me– excellent is. I pour into projects, people and resources that are anything-but-average, because that’s the kind of LIFE that I aim to create. Daily.
I am highly aware of conflict and/or dissonance, and generally tend to avoid it.
If a relationship isn’t working anywhere– leave it.
If you’re constantly in a battle with a friend– separate from them.
If you feel conflicted whether or not your job is right for you– find alternatives.
Life is too short for dissonance.
I seek out people who spread positivity rather than create conflict. I don’t waste time trying to impose other views on others, I let THEM decide. I also let people decide when they’re ready to partner with me in building their business. No recruiting, no forcing the task, no hard sales goals— just flow. Because that’s when the BIG accomplishments come forth.
I built to Gold rank in my doTERRA business in just 16 months. That’s faster than the average pace– but I was able to conquer this through my consistent daily actions. Devoting 1 or 2 hours per day to nurturing my network and providing daily education on natural health. Simple, right!?
When I mentor new builders– I ensure that they understand the principle of being consistent in building a business. You’ll encounter all sorts of people in your life who will tell you they made millions overnight or that there was zero struggle in their journey– but the truth is, that’s not the case for 99.9% of people. Let’s get real.
In my coaching, I lay the foundation for YOU to follow a similar path that I have– by following the simple principle of being consistent.
I am continually curious. A forever student.
I have worked in a number of different industries– some that I had formal training in, and some not. I never feel as though I am ‘above’ a certain task or certain job– everything is a learning experience.
I am fascinated by PEOPLE, which is why I listen to so many interviews and podcasts of those who I admire. I ask a lot of questions when I meet someone– and genuinely would rather learn about their lives than discuss my own.
With my fiancee Dave, we cusiously travel the world and never follow the status quo in taking trips. We’ve found ourselves getting invites to a local family lunch in El Jadida, Morrocca (Africa)– hiking along pitch dark highways while it was pouring rain in Ometempe, Nicaragua (South America)– and snowboarding through a mini avalanche on Glacier 3000 in Switzerland (Europe). Our curiosity for life can be a bit extreme, but serves us well.
I am keenly aware of and thankful for the good things that happen in my life. I see the glass half full. I manifest what I want (friends, jobs, business partners). I only devote time to being positive, because negativity feels terribly in my body.
As often as possible– I send un-necessary thank you notes and write e-mails to people who are important to me.
